I am creating the first professional looking Lilac Rainbow Faerie Oracle deck using a blank tarot card product available from plaincards.com. You print on the card templates and pop them out of the sheet. You even get an emery board to file down the edges if needed. They should look great. Colour Oracle reading

Over the weekend I did myself a reading with my own colour oracle deck Working with Light. We all go through tough times as part of the spiritual journey. We all suffer. All you can do sometimes is try to pick yourself back up and move on. Everyone sees places where there is no hope, but it is what we do with these experiences that makes us wiser. I have seen places where the world stops making sense and I have seen places where things make too much sense. Anyway, I have recently been to negative and confusing places where the self is lost!! Submerged! the great bit is that using my Working with Light Colour Oracle I found understanding and because the oracle is my own creation, it was even more affirming.

I drew an indigo triangle card. Indigo is among other things about vision and foresight for the future. I drew this on the emotional level. I had been getting too emotionally invested in where I was going and how uncertain this was. With so much red (the colour of responsibility, routine) in the rest of the reading, particularly on the mind and within the energies in and around me, I felt this intangibility about the future as quite painful. The need for concrete and definite things in my life was all around, but my worries and fears were on something in the future. Scared of not acheiving! Not being able to pin down what I want! And who am I in all this anyway?!?! The knowledge alone of what is going on is enough to start to work in harmony with the energy once more. PHEW! Rollercoaster of a ride...

Russ & Gaz's Ideas

I have created a new section on this site, Russ & Gaz's Ideas. This is a place to display the innovative and creative ideas that Gareth Horbury and myself had over the our years as a student and beyond. Innovation and creative thought is highly linked to the spiritual process. God is the creator. If we are to acheive and work with the Godly side of ourselves, our Higher self, then surely we will become creators too. The conception has its symbolism with the process of life being conceived. the spark of energy that comes with conception of a good idea is very alive and vibrant and contains a spark. Perhaps this is similar to the big bang. Unlimited potential is held within this moment and when experienced fully it is beyond description.

Anyway, we had lots of good ideas and we continue to have them. Many of these are spiritual ideas. That is, ideas within the realm of commercialising spirituality in the new age. Take a look and be inspired to have your own ideas and enhance your life. There are only a few on there at the moment, but I am adding more all the time so keep checkingback in. The Truth about Hypnotherapy...

.. or something that sounds less sinister. This is actually the title on my current article in Birmingham Life magazine. Buy (or just find and read) a copy. The article features two of my clients; Jacqueline Phillips (inthepresenceofangels.co.uk) and Kumlaish Kumari (re-cognition.co.uk). I didn't know that much about hypnotherapy before. At In the Presence of Angels, Jacqui teaches and practices spiritual hypnotherapy and future life progression, which we couldn't fit in the article, but which sound very interesting. Kumlaish practices NLP, hypnotherapy and counselling in a more traditional way and is creating hypno CDs in community languages.

Cognitive Development on the Web

I am currently building a personal website for Louise Stokes (author, actor, painter etc). Very much in the theme of the Lilac Rainbow project we are doing together, the site includes a different way of doing. Using a very wide and very deep (in measurement as opposed to meaning) website I have laid the pages out next to and below each other, requiring the viewer to scroll both to the right, to the left and down the page to find out information. One might argue that this contravenes accessibility guidelines, but there's nothing wrong with a challenge, I'm sure! The site is actually laid out sensibly and there is guidance from page to page. The only thing that would make it difficult for people is that they are not expecting it. I wonder does this matter with accessibility?

Lilac Rainbow Oracle comes to life!

I have been working for a couple of months now on extracting the symbolism and meaning from the Lilac Rainbow paintings by Louise Stokes. The readings are fantastic, as is the poetry that Louise is creating.

Recently, when working with the cards, I have started to see them in a new light. Each character is beginning to come to life, as though they want to become an animation. Any animators out there with a spiritual inclination please get in touch. The images are very simple and very colour based and I'm sure simple animation techinques would work very well. Check out the site to see what you think. I can just picture the bluebell and other flower faeries loafing and playing around, the trees speaking their wisdom, the blue faery being intense and passionate.

It could be appropriate that I created this website on a day containing the energy of the number 3, the number of creation. The site is a blog portal into all that I do. We all need to keep current with our lives and a site like this allows me to do this. Just something as simple as keeping in touch with the numerology of the day allows you to be more present and responsive in your life. How often do we forget what date it is? (every day, I hear you say) And this is an energy that is available to us every day.

It is also relevant that aftermonths of Saturn retrograde I put this togethor on the day it goes direct. Action and progress has returned!

I am a person that lives a symbolic and intuitive lifestyle; a creative existence. Epigenesis. In short, I use my imagination to allow my life have meaning to me. Learning to live like this has been a long journey of highs and lows, putting it into practice in its full is like poetry in motion. To be able to have interaction and conversation with the world around you is a very powerful experience and brings with it a feeling of the exact opposite of being alone.

This website links through to my outputs, which are how I attempt to describe the world I experience, the world of purpose, symbolism and creation. I hope I can help you to advance along your spiritual path. the energies on the planet now and those that are coming are pushing us all towards spiritual enlightenment. The actual planet is becoming enlightened and, as its residents, we are too.
